From Numbers to Yes/No
Regression predicts a number; classification predicts a category. To turn a number into a probability between 0 and 1, we squash it through the sigmoid function — the heart of logistic regression.
A Tiny Classifier
Combine a weight, a bias, and the sigmoid into a classifier: above 0.5 → class 1, below → class 0.
