What is Programming?

Programming is the art of teaching a computer to do things — exactly how you want, as fast as you want, without getting bored!

What is Java?

Java is one of the most widely used programming languages in the world. It is famous for its motto "write once, run anywhere" — code you write on one computer runs on almost any other, thanks to the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). Java is strict and organised, which makes it an excellent language for learning solid programming habits.
