Hallucinations

Because an LLM predicts plausible-sounding text, it can produce statements that sound perfectly confident but are simply made up. This is called a hallucination. The model isn't lying — it has no notion of "true"; it just picked likely-looking words.

Trust, but Verify

The AI tutor is fantastic for explaining ideas, spotting bugs, and giving examples. But it's a predictor, not a source of verified truth. The smart move is to run the code it suggests and check the result yourself — the playground is right there.
